The American School of Bombay makes the application process for new students as simple and transparent as possible. The journey towards personalized attention begins with the Office of Admission, knowing that all children and families transition differently.

Why did we choose Cambridge curriculum and what is the main idea?We believe in one curriculum to be followed to maintain sustainability. Our main motive is to educate children through Project based learning. IGCSE develops and encourages vital educational skills, including verbal skills, investigative skills, problem solving, team work, recall of knowledge, and initiative and working on feedback.

How is Keystone Different from other schools?We are third school in India and first school in Hyderabad that follows PBL (Project Based Learning) approach which is integrated with our curriculum, followed by SLC (Student Lead Conference) We started our journey in the year 2016 and we are a fast establishing school. We don't prescribe textbooks to the students. We churn out our own content and prepare the concepts. We have differential learning for the students. We prepare our students to meet the external world with confidence and ease. SEL (Social Emotional Learning) is the heart of the Keystone Education System. We have 5 core values which were designed by us and we ensure that these values are being followed by the students' example: Freedom with responsibility, Integrity, Honesty, Challenge and respect, resilience , Empathy , Community learning and sustainability. Guided reading- Introducing the learners to the world of books Bibilothon- Is reading marathons. We encourage Learners to give their reflections about the book.

What are the safety measures or precautions keeping in view the nearby constructions. Example dust , Insects & noise pollution.We are taking all necessary measures to protect our school environment. However all our class rooms are sound and dust proof with the necessary glass doors.

Important to NoteAdmission to the American School of Bombay is subject to applicants meeting ASB’s academic and behavioral standards. Submission of a complete application does not guarantee acceptance into ASB. Complete academic records and all required paperwork must be received by the Office of Admission before the application can be considered for admission. If necessary, the ASB Admission Committee may request additional academic and personal information, additional assessments, as well as an applicant and parent interview. Failure to submit all required documentation and to disclose pertinent information regarding the applicant - such as educational testing, support services in or out of a schooling environment, individual educational plans, or psychological evaluations - may be cause for the student's admission review to be delayed or denied.

How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
View of the child
Young children take in all that they see around them and that’s what makes the early formative years so very important. We conceptualize an image of the child as competent, strong, inventive, and full of ideas with rights instead of needs. They express their ideas through art, music, play, storytelling, writing, drawing, etc.
Role of Teacher
Learning is a social process based on trust, respect, and encouragement. A teacher is an observer, supporter, and guide that brings wisdom and thoughtfulness to the child’s unique social and intellectual exploration. Teachers help children connect the dots and support the ever-expanding web of knowledge.
Role of Environment
The environment is the third teacher. Children are provided with an environment filled with natural light, order, and beauty. Open studio spaces free from clutter, where every material connects the child with the actual scenarios that they experience every day. The space encourages collaboration, communication, and exploration. Children learn through sensory experiences and integration.
Role of Family
We believe children are connected to family, community, culture, and place. Their earliest development and learning take place through the relationships they share with their parents, family members, and educators. Active communication with teachers and families allows for collaborative goal-setting.
The Approach
Keystone Atelier is a Reggio Emilia inspired Early Years Program serving
children, ages 2.5 to 5.5 years and their families through the love of learning.
We create a safe, nurturing and creative environment where children’s unique personalities and potentials are valued. Young learners are most influenced by their immediate environment, family, community and culture and therefore learn most effectively when they are encouraged to explore and understand their world and their place within it.
